Welcome to the week of Waterloo Fest! We're almost there and we cannot wait, so we wanted to help everyone get prepared. Read on for arrival info, what-to-bring reminders, can't-miss activities, safety suggestions and more!

Wristband Pick Up

If you live around Austin or arrive early for the fest, come to our Pick Up Party! Our last Waterloo Fest Wednesday show in our pre-party series will double as an early wristband pickup opportunity. Enjoy some local music, cocktails, meet the family, and grab your band to avoid Box Office lines! Free of charge for pass holders. Event info here: www.facebook.com/events/191377668146380/

Can't make the party? Grab your band at the Box Office at the festival. Details below!

how to get here

Map yourself or your ride share to 635 Dalton Ln, Austin, TX 78742, and choose the route that uses Hergotz Ln. Our venue is called Carson Creek Ranch, but that address is the one that will get you to the correct entrance!

Please note that our venue Carson Creek Ranch will collect $20 for parking each day, or $30 for weekend tent camping, from attendees who do not have a Car Camping Pass. Come prepared with cash!

Not driving? Take Lyft. Follow this link for 20% off two Lyft rides to/from Carson Creek Ranch: www.lyft.com/i/wmf2018

When to Arrive

The Box Office, where you'll pick up your passes, opens at 8:00AM each day for camping. For non-camping fest goers, the Box Office opens at 12:00PM Friday, 12:00PM Saturday, and 11:00AM Sunday. We'll direct you there when you arrive!

The campgrounds are open 10:00AM Friday through noon on Monday. Keep in mind that you can't drive your car into the campgrounds after midnight each night.

Festival Hours:

  • Friday 2:00 PM - 1:00 AM
  • Saturday 1:00 PM - 1:00 AM
  • Sunday 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM

What to Bring

Sunscreen and a smile! And maybe a few other things... Like rain ponchos (no umbrellas allowed in the fest), an empty water bottle, and $20 cash for non-camper parking.

If you're camping, you're welcome to bring sealed food and non-alcoholic beverages stored in non-breakable containers. Remember that because of the burn ban (not lifted in time for safety re-structuring) we cannot allow cooking or heating elements of any kind, and we have had to update our alcohol rules due to TABC regulations. There is no outside alcohol allowed, so we'll be selling cheap crates of beer and wine in the campgrounds in our best efforts to account for this change.

Check out our full list of allowed vs. prohibited items on the FAQ page: www.waterloofest.com/faq.

How to Beat the Heat

Look out for our shade structures and cooling stations throughout the fest! We're making sure to create plenty of of shady spots. There will also be free water refill stations, marked by a water drop on the venue map!

Can't Miss Activities

It's hard to choose, but some top picks: the water balloon fight on Saturday at 6:00pm, the Dale's Pale Ale Slip 'n Slide, morning yoga in the campgrounds, the silent disco, and of course the Relix Stage by the water at sunset. Plus of course delicious food and beautiful craft vendors.
